The 24-year-old Irish citizen accused in a drunk driving crash earlier this year that left four Neshaminy High School students seriously injured had fled his home country where he was awaiting sentencing for leading police on a high-speed chase while intoxicated.  A Northern Ireland county district judge also imposed a driving ban on Shane Brolly in September 2019, after he pleaded guilty to charges including dangerous driving, failing to stop for police, and driving with excess alcohol in his breath. “You are clearly a menace to road users,” the judge told Brolly before deferring sentencing until he received a pre-sentencing report, according to the Sunday Life, a Belfast newspaper, which has reported on Brolly’s Bucks County arrest.
